I haven't done much of this in forever, but I still think about it all the time. More and more often I catch myself thinking about original fic, which is mostly a conglomeration of other stories I can't tell through fan fiction with new characters. The downside of original fic: no one's allowed to have lightsabers! This is a great unjustice. D:

Ahahaha, the love of my life and bane of my existence. :D No, I'm exaggerating, it's not that bad, it's just the people-part that comes attached to it that makes me want to die. Sometimes I want to make long thinky posts about the role design has played in human history, from the printing press to the people who created letterforms, and how it's ironic that most of the justice and equality we have today is because someone, somewhere, wrote something down, which ties into the last word rayemars gave me, but I don't. Make the post, that is.

More thinky posts I never quite get around to making! I read dkos all the time, which always leaves me with food for thought, but I never get around to writing anything down . . . I like my habit of posting quotes from Obama's speeches, though, and might branch out and do that for other things, too.

OHIO. IS SO FLAT. AND COMPOSED ALMOST ENTIRELY OF SCRUBBY RURAL AREAS AND SUBURBS. It is so boring. Also, Cincinnati is one of the most conservative areas of the country, which means we keep sending Jean Schmidt to Congress and Dubya drops in every so often to chill with the folks in Indian Hill. UGH OHIO.
